RE: ISX 871 error 2449
I haven’t checked the back pressure sensor yet. That’s why I asked that question to see if there was any association with the issue I’m having. The turbo and actuator are Cummins Holset originals.

* who did the de-mandate on it?. Running Rouge

* has anyone bothered to remove the down pipe for the exhaust and see if it gains more boost on a hard pull?. No.

* Has anyone bothered to check the intake, CAC etc. for leaks or to see if the CAC unit is leaky under 30 psi of air pressure?. Yes. I have my inflatable plugs with the PVC end cap drilled with a pressure gauge. CAC is new.

* Has anyone bothered to remove the turbo actuator and do a proper turbo inspection?... see if there is too much resistance in the arm movement vs. a new turbo?. No. I purchased an original Hokset remanufactured to replace if the issue is not resolved.

I’m about to pull the back pressure sensor to see if it’s plugged.

The previous program that was installed, according to running rough, was not compatible with my original software. It would boost up to close to 40 psi. But after the demandate and compatible program, since day 1, I’ve only seen 28 psi.

Will post back with my back pressure sensor findings.
