2020 peterbilt 389 x15 delete question
Hello everyone I’ve got a 2020 peterbilt 389 with a deleted x15

We just got the truck deleted and I noticed that the power was not the same as when it had all of the dpf stuff working. I since found out that the truck has been detuned from the 605hp it originally had to the 565 tune. My question is can we bump the HP back to 605 on a new fleet calibration or do I need to get a whole new tune it’s a cm2350

Thanks for all of the help in advance I’m still new at this stuff and learning. I’ve got insite and calterm with a usb link 3 so if someone can point me in the right direction that would be great

ABOVE ALL THAT....

ASSUME THE DELETE PROGRAM IS COMPLETE GARBAGE!!!.. More than 90% of all delete programs out there are pure garbage and will severely shorten the engine life!.. Especially on a 600 HP engine!.

Bad programming (the biggest plague of the trucking industry) is as bad as having sand poured into your engine.. all while the truck owner usually swears that it seems to run good.

START BY copying the program from that ecm and e-mail it to me for a proper review of what someone did to it. Otherwise you are just trying to play the lotto of destroyed engines for no damn reason. Does not matter how it runs, etc. -= ASSUME THE WORST to start with and then go from there.

Fun fact, the 565hp 2050 tq stock file actually performs better than the 605hp 2050tq stock file. If it wasn't done by someone on here, count on it being garbage..

And if you program it with a new cal then it won’t be demandated any longer…… chances are that would still be better than the tune that’s on it.

Why does the 565 perform better than the 605? I have neither I just am curious.
