Hello, I have a 2014 International 9900 with the CM2350 have been dealing with parked regen issues and a few times requiring forced regens. truck has been to multiple dealers who have changed some sensors but still not fixed. sometimes truck will run a few weeks without issues. this week went into shutdown code 1922 dealer supposedly did a force regen to get the truck home for me to look at. 120 miles later driver did a parked regen. 200 miles later another parked regen. then after that he loaded and drove 1000 miles home with no issues. I am going through the diagnostics but asking if anyone has seen this issue before that would speed things up a bit.
Current active codes that dealer pulled are 1922, 2754, 4616, 5319, 5397,1144,1145 these all have only 1 active count each. and 1921 with 2 inactive counts.

Sounds like it's time for an EGR tuneup. That involves replacing all emission sensors, imap, exhaust pressure, egr temp, EGR differential pressure.

Have the cans been baked lately? What is the average of the far right column of numbers if you look at aftertreatment history using insite? If it's 3 or over, you need to bake the dpf.

What are the Temps looking like while it's doing a parked regen? Is it even getting hot enough to do a regen or does it just keep trying and failing?

Will it pass a rail leakdown test?

This is unrelated to your current issue but has the fuel pump ever been rebuilt? They are only good for 400K miles or 8,000 hours. After that your rolling the dice with a complete and catastrophic loss of your entire engine.

Thanks for the Reply, I am in the process of the Tune up now, the cans were baked I will have to pull the info for that, this engine is a complete new drop in with approx 250,000 miles on it I will get back to you with the aftertreatment history.

Regen problems are caused BY THE ENGINE!!!.. The cans under the truck don't make the soot, .. they collect it. it is an engine issue that causes regen issues,.. but those damn dumbarsse stealer#shits will never do the enigne work necessary to make the problems go away. It is a money maker for them for you to keep goign back every so often and it bankrupt you.

If you own a red engine, then you will need to learn to get your hands dirty, or go out of business. That is their only, and biggest advantage towards owning a red engine vs. anything else. That engine can be your best friend (you work on it yourself).. or your worst nightmare (you throw your problems at every shop in town). The choice is yours, and no one else is going to make it happy and profitable in the end but YOU!.

Thanks Rawze for the links. Did the tune up and forced a regen and differential is now back at .5-.6 only codes I have left are 4616 and 1144,1145 all with one count only. What are the specs for the IMap ?

specs for the IMAP?... replace it with a new one from the stealers$it about once a year or so. Simply as that. they cannot be cleaned properly or serviced, and the ones ppl buy off the interwebs cause more grief than good.
