Cm871 reduced power 2010 cm871 500hp set to 550 So recently, I’ve been experiencing a low power issue. The truck won’t really boost past 30 psi It takes forever to get up to say 65 miles an hour on the interstate. Sometimes it tries to tries to run “normal” as in it will surge up for a second. I’ve monitored stuff on insight and don’t see anything out of the normal. There’s no smoke at all the injectors checked out good the cut out test checked out good I just replaced turbo because I assumed that the turbo was going out unsure of how old it was and knew it had bad programming ran through it for however long. it came pre-programmed still did not fix the issue changed the intake sensor that didn’t help anything either. I replaced the whole fuel system this spring minus the gear pump had a leaky fueling actuator that I replaced when I did turbo It doesn’t throw any codes and the turbo readings are both the same. It just seems like the truck is derated and there’s just not the power it had going to the gears. It feels like I’m driving a 300 hp truck versus a 550 hp truck has been demandated Programming was all taken care of on here. Checked the cac and it was good replaced all the boots as well new fuel filters and air filter I have not done the bubble test on the injectors yet it doesn’t seem like an injector and it ran on every cylinder by themselves just fine. pretty much at a loss of what to do or what to monitor right now help would be appreciated. RE: Cm871 reduced power Also my fuel mileage went from 6.5 to 4.7 on the same runs I’ve been doing. I also tapped ecm to make sure it wasn’t dying User's Signature: 2010 kenworth t800 isx500hp cm871 13spd 3.55ratio

RE: Cm871 reduced power ========== (copy-pasted)... If the power is shifting, and its suspected that anything whatsoever in the programming at all is contributing towards it, then use Calterm to monitor what is happening in the engine. Monitor specially the the 'CBL_Fuel_state' parameter and others related to it. This will tell you exactly what is happening and why. use this screen file + some desktop recording software (like OBS studio, etc.) to record what is going on on a test drive ... ref: https://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?...6#pid28636 Post a link to a desktop recording of when its running right .. and then transitioning to acting up or screen shots) again when its acting up via that CT session screen I linked to. I can translate the numbers into what its doing. lastly.. are these engine deleted?.. (de-mandated)?. if so then copy the program out of the ecm and e-mail it to me for a review of what some yahoo did in there, as more than 90%+ of all delete programming out there is half-aarssed and harmful to the engine. ========= re-posted from here... ref: http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...5#pid81705 User's Signature: ->: What I post is just my own thoughts and Opinions! --- I AM Full Of S__T!.

RE: Cm871 reduced power Thanks for responding. So as I ran yesterday the problem got less and less and by the end of the day it was running normal again. Not sayin it fixed itself I’m not that lucky. Could I have introduced to much air into the fuel system when I changed fuel filters and it just took a while for it to work itself out? Also I’m pretty sure my usb cable for my inline 6 is going bad. I constantly lose connection. Does the usb light constantly stay on when plugged in to computer or does it flash while it’s running? RE: Cm871 reduced power Yea I’m not sure what the deal was I actually have one I need to pick up and install the old one was looking crappy when I replaced the fuel sending unit on the tank. Truck won’t move until Tuesday to see if it acts up again and to check it on CT User's Signature: 2010 kenworth t800 isx500hp cm871 13spd 3.55ratio
