2016 lonestar tune issue 2016 lonestar cm2350 demandated Turbo {after-market fixed vane} I pull rail containers I was averaging 5.7 mpg till my turbo took a dump had a new turbo installed and I believe the mechanic that replaced it in VA messed with my tune. Truck runs like a champ pulls hills like nothing but unfortunately the mpg has suffered and I believe I have a bad tune not fit for my engine spec. If anyone could help me out over team viewer I have everything to get connected and make adjustments if need be. | |||

RE: 2016 lonestar tune issue Your first problem is you have a bad demandate program in your ECM. Your second problem is you have a garbage turbo on the engine. Put the proper OEM turbo from cummins back on it and then have one of the trusted people from this site fix your bad demandate. | |||

AND YOU STILL DO!!!. because no one who does even half way decent programming WOULD EVER TELL YOU TO REMOVE THAT VGT TURBO!!!. == The engine brake will also no longer function properly. Some morons even go as far as trying to use after-garbage cams to overcome some of this issue, but that makes the problems with engine longevity even worse!. - It makes me wonder what other redneck trash mods or components have been installed/done to that engine, making it pretty much worthless. It also makes someone wonder how much progressive damage it has already inside it due to the torture your putting it through. No one is telling you to UNDO the demandate. I don't care about that part of it either way .. they are telling you that the mods you did to go along with it are complete trash. BTW, just warning you up front ... If you are here to learn and work towards doing things right and UNDO THOSE KINDS OF REDNECK ABUSIVE TRASH .. because you did not know any better until now, then that is great. -But if instead, your next move is top start an argument about it, then you will get kicked off here as fast as you can blink. I don't suffer fools who want to abuse and destroy a $40,000+ commercial engine due to ... ... Perhaps being too cheap (or crying they are too poor) to make the engine run right again and would rather just keep tearing it up and cry about that $30,000 inframe they caused to happen. ... or perhaps out of ignorant stubbornness, or belt-buckle bragging rights, and/or just absolute sheer stupidity!. - Those things are the OPPOSITE of what this forum is about. Abusing equipment with trash mods IS NOT tolerated on this forum. ========================= == Get the parts together to put back that OEM turbo and manifold(s), and whatever other trash parts have been installed. == COPY the program from the ecm and e-mail it over to me so that it can be fully reviewed and you can find out how bad/damaging/redneck it really is. The process of getting the program copied out is also the road towards getting things done/set 100% correctly as well ... and then hoping like h#ell that too much internal progressive damage to the engine has not already set in.
