How bad is this abuse?
im not a master at the rest but the 12-8 8-5 oil pressures are scarry to me.

its not good

31 minutes of extreme low oil pressure in 17000 hrs is too much for just oil changes, so thats sketchy. Also its been above 245 on coolant temp and has been north of 20 on crankcase pressure which can be a marker for internal issues. Like i said not good unless there are some events that explain this.

How did it log 128.5 hrs of less than 5 psi oil pressure?

Hey uni
I'm still trying to figure this truck out and to understand what I now have on my hands. It was suppose to have had another motor put in (used with 600k from a Kenworth) . Shouldn't there be records or evidence of some sort in insite for this? Wouldn't you normally keep the same ecm that is on the used motor ? The engine hrs that insite displays now matches my truck dash engine hrs.
So did the engine abuse happen with the old motor or with this newer used motor? How do we know when this abuse happened?
Go to avolvo dealer with your truck Vin, and they can look up the engine serial number for the engine that was installed in the factory.
