CUMMINS ISX
At the traffic light I put in gear and pushed the gas pedal to move. no response, put it in neutral
still no response. the truck moved at the speed of low gear and idle RPM. Eventually I passed the traffic light and pulled over. I turned the engine off. and backed on after few moments. everything was OK.
Now the question is what might happened and underlying reasons. anybody has similar experience?
What year / make / model truck?

what model engine?

Is it de-mandated>?

any CEL light(s)?

2010 Peterbilt 387
cummins ISX
Is it de-mandated>? - no

engine light was on before , it gives a code about ego calibration
I had that happen to a KW with a N14 it was a throttle sensor that when to shi3.
it did the same as you said just would idle on and not do anything when you pressed the pedal.
I changed my tps and did not help.It was the 5 volt supply needed fixed. When mine did it if you were in nutral and would keep reving it i could get it to hesitate. If You can get it to start hesitating you can try to move it.If you can get the truck up to a speed where your cruise will work .Your cruise control will bypass tps to try to get to shop
Where is the location of that sensor?
Is it sold at cummins or peterbilt dealerships?

It’s your accelerator pedal. You could check with insite live data on that pedal.
Could be vehicle speed sensor
Just adding this into the mix for those who might be searching reasons on why their throttle pedal may not be working...
