Hey guys finally got my 08 T800 on the road, having an issue with the wipers they work but they won’t return to their proper position. Also on intermittent setting they dont do a full cycle before stopping. What causes this?

Bad motor....typically as the motor goes bad, it will have trouble finding its 'home' position. Therefore, you're usually stuck with wipers somewhere in the middle of their stroke, which in turn is the middle of the windshield somewhere.
I’d agree on the motor. Had a company freighliner do same thing. Replaced motor. All worked fine
Awesome thank you for the info
My ProStar was doing that, I installed a new motor and entire wiper assembly, as the bushings were shot, mine is a 2008 too... They only last so long.
Changed the motor with a new one from Kenworth and still won’t find its way. Now what?
I'm having this same problem with my 2013 T800. Same thing, replaced motor but wipers will not return to off position in centre of windshield. I've gotta get my washer fluid working as well once I get it back from inframe w/ Unilevers. Please update this thread if you figure it out and I'll do the same.
Have you guys checked the bushings at the bottom of the wiper arms? When they wear out it leaves too much play an the wipers end up at odd places
I didn’t notice any excessive wear in the joints
