My dad was heading home and truck just died. Has 12v at shutoff solenoid filters are good has 50-60 psi cranking on onsite 10-15psi when electric is running. Had codes for cylinder imbalance, and low fuel pressure moderately low. And I believe 1943 unknown code. 2007 t600 cm870
Did you spin the filter off? Was it full of fuel? If not, maybe sucking air? fuel(gear pump) bad? I think that cylinder imbalance is pretty common on a demandated 870
Fuel pressure is low while cranking. I think you need closer to 100 psi minimum to start.
Cylinder imbalance is very come. I get it at every filter change and random times. Its really nothing to worry about unless its really rough running.
She spins over fast filters are full. I'm thinking gear pump also. But it's a stocker 870 no demandate
She also has 1.4mil on pump so it's time most likely
Were gona go in tomorrow stop and cummins grab a new HP pump and toss it on.
Welp Cummins was closed Pete/Ken/int/freight all didn't have a pump in stock thankfully the cm870 ifsm I put on my truck had a pump on it that I had taken off but had left at the mechanics shop we called them got the codes for door and alarm system lol went in grabbed the pump and put it on and she's back up and running.
