Maybe I am misinformed but I have been using the newer FF5825 on my 2250 for years now. I have never had an issue.
Wouldn't think there would be an issue running the newer style 4micron filter as long as the flow rate isn't much different. Unfortunately I don't have comparative specs on the two filters. The 5776 is just a cheaper option when compared to the 5825 from Fleetguard which is why I'd been running them in on my 2014 cm2350.
