Its called a U-Haul;!--- MOVE AWAY!
Red beard are you in California economic tyranny state like me.
Yes I’m in California, the land of stolen opportunity. Been doing this over forty years and planning my exit. Upgraded to a used 2013 T800 in 2015, and as you know all the issues that come along with it.
It now has 380,000 miles, Uni and Rawze both advise not to deal with “problem” as burning 1 gallon Oil every 2500 miles is a game changer. Engine sounds good and tight.
Trying to decide to upgrade or rebuild and fix “problem”.
Fuel mileage is 6.5 and I haul liquid bulk and some flatbed.
Thinking I got around 3-5 years left of fight in this industry, but it changes everyday
Hahaha, redbeard put the life and mentality of every trucker. I just don't think he realized it.

Always tired, always trying to figure "it" out... just to stubborn to stop.

Good luck on the 3-5 year finish line. I'm pretty sure with my 15 years in this racket I've got 30 more years of the same type of goal.
Keep running your current T800 redbeard. At least you know all of its “demons”. Every brand new truck I have bought, 4 now in 20 years trucking, has come with a nice helping of fresh new surprises that have to be worked out before you actually have a good reliable piece of equipment. I think you are miles ahead With what you’ve got. Just my $.02
