Hello all,

The check engine light recently came on
. My engine isx15 2350 had dumped a lot of oil all at once. There was no signs of visible leaking. I opened the crankcase filter and had oil all in the filter. I removed the filter and hooked up Cummins insite. Fault 1942 crankcase pressure sensor erratic. The dumping of oil only happened once I noticed the turbo sounding a bit off, only while idling.
There's no coolant leaking , no oil leaking, however, I have noticed a significant decrease in fuel economy.

Check light cleared and 3 days later it emerged again.

Any one have a clue as to what's going on?
see how much blo=-by you have.

maybe drill out the CC filter or replace it with a maintenance free one from cummins ...

is the truck de-mandated? - if so, who did the engine tuning, etc?
The truck is mandated.
I'll check for blo-by as soon as I get home.

I know its kinda red-neck ... but this is better than taking it to a dyno and spending a lot of money just to see if you got blo-by issues...
