Wow, that's why they have a tire cage. I seen one blow the other day at T/A in Missoula. Even with the cage,it still knocked the guy on his ass. Thanks for sharing.
@ double overdrive - I won't ever argue with the road side service truck tire repair guy, when he says he is about to inflate the tire so please back away.
One of the Loves Tire service center techs told me that when one of these tires blow, it has the potential air power to shoot a 16 pound bowling ball 450 yards.
I had 2 blown before I figure out that those one way air caps was causing the air gauge too read it had much less air then it actually was.
On the subject of tire inflation. Is there anything on the market that can inflate your tire to a preset psi? Or even something that would connect to both tires and get them inflated to the same amount at the same time? I was checking tire pressures this morning and thinking of ways to speed up the process and make it more accurate. Just curious.
