they claim everything looks good suggested I just run it
..

If Unilevers has heard it, and it is back-feeding into the intake, even a minor leak will eventually wash out a liner and take out a cylinder. It could also cause cavitation elsewhere. For anyone to blindly say "ruin it like that" has to be a complete idiot! in my opinion!.

Rawze is blowin fire again!!!! Good to hear.
Lmao!!! I totally agree ! Unilevers is The man! I think that was a way of saying we don't have a clue what that is.
Love it!! He's back!!
It's for sure intake valve? I wonder if jake plunger is getting stuck and holding a valve open.

Unilevers

i too thought this, but he has had a mechanic in the top end 3 times and they say it is all good. im assuming that they are telling the truth on this matter and the noise does definatly sound like a intake pulse
What about a slipped valve cam? How is the power? The jake sound would be coming on the exhaust side. Id remove the intake pipe and see if it is louder. Sounds like a thump sound. We had one in here a few months bad with a bad valve. but it had a skip and was smoking
Dirty DPF and leaking EGR
Power seems ok, lil spuddery, no smoke doc & dpf are clean the sound is loudest at air cleaners did the temp gun yesterday all cylinders are around same temp boroscope is next
Coco, Did you run the rpm's up to about 1300, when you checked the temp's at the exhaust manifold?
