She's no spring chicken but should get us there. The truck rides so much better with some weight on the back

You can stop and set trusses every few hundred miles to pay for fuel :)
Might help with putting large items into the trailer :)

I know, right. Definitely got some looks dragging a dry van behind a boom truck today. I'm expecting to be hassled at just about every turn. I do have every law that applies to the truck in WA printed out. I'm slowly going through the other states to try and get something similar put together. There should be reciprosity, where the rules of my home state carry with me, but I can't find an actual law about that
Hagerty seemed ok with issuing insurance today. That took a week and a half trying to understand what was going on

Back when I had a construction business the truck was owned by my LLC and I had contractor insurance as well as an auto policy. Basically; when the boom was off the cradle it was covered by the contractor insurance, everything else was covered by the auto policy. Now I don't have a construction business and I just need insurance for driving it
The trailer has these cages welded underneath. Any idea what they were used for?
Planning on cutting them off unless there's some special function that I'm not seeing
