Any idea as to why I’d get a little engine light when I turn on the high setting on the engine/Jake brake?

High back pressure in the dpf? I'm not sure.

What's the code? We can guess all day and get nowhere.

I don’t know the code. But good news. After I fixed my exhaust leak, the light never came back.
