I need a recommendation on shocks, and someone who can do a complete inspection on the front end.

I have met him, but I tought he just did engine work.

I pit Monroes on mine. Mr Hagg can fix anything but a broken heart!!
I think I'd go with a gas charged shock. My understanding is it takes a oil filled one several bounces to build up pressure to stop the bounce whereas a gas shock stops it first time.
Where did you get the monroe shocs?? Do you have a part number??

I got mine at NAPA. I don't have the part number, but some of the other guys will hopefully chime in.
