Is a tall sleeper pulling a flatbed as much of a hindrance to fuel mileage as a flat top pulling a van/reefer? I would imagine it’s not. I’m wondering from those with experience.
flat-bed is all over the place depending on what you are hauling.
A shorter height cab aligned with a full height trailer is a constant extra load on the vehicle. 1/2mi to the gallon, up to a mile+ losses, depends.
on both, the faster you drive the worse it gets.
