My company wants the truck vin number to show in my elog. There’s a place for it, but it’s not there. They say it has to be done in the ecm.
In INSITE under Vehicle Info, it shows the wrong number, off by one digit.
1) should I correct it?
2) is this the way to get it to show in the elog?

It should match the vehicle vin# in the ecm, yes. Just edit it and set it correctly.
