Hi guys, we have a 2010 525 single cam isx15.
initial issue was blown head gasket, obvious on head gasket.
so far we have checked #4 and #5 cylinders with new liners and shims.
Both liners leaning to exhaust,
Only way to get the protrusion back to .15 is to double stack.
With one .20 and one .32 the intake side is .30 and exhaust .26.
then cut .15 down to get .15 protrusion

with 2 .20 shims, we have .19 and .12

so, is it ok to stack a .32 and a .20?
is it ok to cut .15? I think thats a yes?

Id really like to hear Rawze's advice on this stacking and cutting.
as well as anyone who has done it and motor has lasted or did not last.
Thank you!
You can have 2 shims. So either the captive shim/loose shim, plus whatever shim u cut to, whether it be a 20 or a 32.
