I’ve put about 60k miles on it around the farm since we bought it 3 years ago and it just suddenly started with the check engine light then the stop engine light with the codes I listed. RE: 2636/SPN 641 FMI 9 - Cornhauler2 - 06-29-2023 .. UPDATE… I put a new actuator on and the check engine light immediately went away and it’s back to no codes, active or inactive. Also Rawze, the old actuator had a RX part number so it wasn’t original. But it had been on the turbo a long time. RE: 2636/SPN 641 FMI 9 - Rawze - 06-29-2023 (06-29-2023 )Cornhauler2 Wrote: .. Thanks for the update. Now .. you need to find out what caused that terminating resistor to fail like that. Things like ... ** Someone using high-power (cb or ham) radio gear that is not grounded properly?. ** Alternator noise is higher than normal due to leaky/weak diodes internally?. ** One of those crappy square-wave, or modified-sine-wave truck stop Power inverters?. -== You get the picture. |
