The only difference I can see is several hundred $$$ .
IR probably makes the snap on impacts, don't know that for a fact.

I've talk to a few guys that bring in piggyback tractors, all of them used the 3/4" IR to dismount and install tires. Good enough to get them on the ground, then final torque.

I don't use air tools except for the main bearings. it is just too problematic to use wrenches and a torque amplifier upside down under the truck. You end up trying to sling around 20-lbs of wrench and 4 feet of cheater pipes just do the final torque.

It will put them in with no problem, but I have the air pressure on the compressor turned up to 150 PSI and feed it with 1/2 line WITHOUT quick-connects, but hydraulic pipe unions instead...
