PLZ HELP - Shaman870 - 10-06-2025 This is something that I can't understand at all and fortunately or unfortunately 530hp is very popular. As of today I am 95% sure that 8521 "out of box " can not be used on 6/6 CPL listed engines. At least it felt like that, with metallic detonation noises of my engine. This 2 cals identical inside AB10349.23 is 8521 (6/6 possibly) AB10351.23 is 8518 (6/4) reference: https://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=3464&pid=29926#pid29926 For me its not important anymore after help of Rawze himself to get proper cal and parameters I wanted for my ESN, for others it could be catastrophic, could be not, I dont know... Just wanted to bring some attention to this matter because I know in person {shop name removed} who is putting that cal into all their customers trucks no matter what based on 1 thing: its made for 6/6 by Cummins :( RE: 2007 isx cm870... The red engine maker was playing around with wedge offsets during those early CM870 days in attempts to get the higher HP engines to pass emissions standards. Those 2 programs are indeed identical internally, yet the CLP's call for 2 different timing wedges. - Possibly a mistake on their part? .. or something else ... Only the red engine maker knows why this is, and/or how hard it would be on the engine itself at the end of the day. |
