X15 cm2350 cruise control cutting out - Kiko - Yesterday Hello to all again. I have a question for you all. I have an 2019 International HX520 with a Cummins x15 cm2350. My problem is that the cruise or high idle will cut out and then not work at all. With insite I have monitored my clutch pedal switch, my brake switch, cruise switch, fan switch, exhaust brake etc etc. I cannot find why this is doing this. I have looked at exhaust pressure and it is the same as atmospheric pressure. Goes up to about 60 at 1000 rpm. According to insite it should be working. Nothing under the parameters has been changed. I guess the real question is what, besides clutch switch, brake switch, cruise switch etc would make the cruise or high idle cut out. RE: X15 cm2350 cruise control cutting out - Rawze - Yesterday maybe fuel pedal not siting quite at zero sometimes? Maybe high idle has a timer?... or green house gas allowance then cuts out?. RE: X15 cm2350 cruise control cutting out - Kiko - Today Thanks Rawze. This truck is on a diet but this problem just showed up. One thing I noticed is that the spot load is showing 100 percent. Engine does not appear to be derated but am wondering if this might have something to do with it. I’ll be looking into the other things you mentioned in a couple of days. Also, since its on a diet.. you should also get that programming reviewed to ensure its not eating the guts out of that engine, if it has not been checked/reviewed yet. Copy it from the ecm and e-mail it to me for a proper review of what someone has done in there to ensure its safe. |
