[split] EGR Delete Info - Onepl - Yesterday Please help. 2018 Cummings x15 CM 2350 X114B low boost after delete. 29 psi for about 4-6 seconds and drops to 21. No leaks between turbo and intake manifold. Engine completely rebuilt 8000 miles. All new MAP sensors, exhaust pressure sensor, and barometric sensor. ESN 79961183 RE: [split] EGR Delete Info - Rawze - Yesterday I review more than 1,000+ programs a year for people. More than 90%+ are absolutely damaging to the engine over time. Things like horrible injection timing - or no proper compensations for the missing EGR, engine in the wrong mode, trying to warm up a DPF can that is no longer there, and all kinds of other issues that eventually take out the cylinder head, head gasket, or the turbo. - This even before anyone adds any power/torque. Copy the program from the ecm and e-mail it to me for a proper review of what someone did in there. info: https://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=8425&pid=72945#pid72945 RE: [split] EGR Delete Info - mikkhh - Yesterday Sensors are GENUINE new parts? Or afetermarket garbage that is faulty straight out of the box? Just for reference I tested MAP sensor on my deere tier4 tractor engine, brand new aftermarket garbage sensor, costed 10 times less than genuine part. Well, it readed 0.00 boost at idle, there should be small boost, otherwise engine would pull vacuum and consume oil from turbo. Accelerating at standstill with no load to rev limiter showed 12PSI of boost, lots of black smoke coming from exhaust, since actual boost was way way less. The guy at parts store showed me that lots of people have bought it and I am the only one that has troubles... Hard to believe. |
