Coolant caps - Porterave - Yesterday
My coolant fill cap is releasing a little pressure with some drops of coolant. Why would the fill cap vent instead of the surge cap? I am trying to understand how the pressure works in the coolant tank & how the caps manage pressure.
I am planning on doing Rawze's 20 psi pressure test this weekend. Also the coolant flush. All the information from the forum has been extremely helpful. Thank you
1. Truck is 2016 DD15 and Radiator was just replaced after 2 small leaks on upper tank seams- left & right corner.
2. Both coolant caps were just replaced - fill cap and surge tank cap.
