Sounds like a slipped cam gear, I had that once before where it showed no codes but had the same symptoms you have. There was no locktite on the nose. Someone had replaced both cams a couple weeks prior to me getting it and had done a crappy job of it. Was good after I redid it.

sorry its been so long but wanted to say after pulling off exhaust manifold could see valve not opening, bad cam shaft. do not recommend using after market it lasted about 9 months
