L10 cummins - Wright_Info_Reader - 05-14-2021

Hello you all does anyone on here owns a l10 cummins or have in the past. So i live in the caribbean and i know someone who owns the motor. So the issue the person is having with the motor is that after a hill climb on some steep grades carrying roughly 30 tons of water the motor oil pressure fell from around 50 psi to 5psi right after the climb. If the engine is left idling with the jakes on as it begins to cools you can hear [/font]the jake brakes begins to work back again as the oil pressure rises. When it is first started up in the morning everything work fine. If you rev the the engine the oil pressure goes up like it should.

Was this a one time deal or is it on going. Your post isn't very clear. Could just be faulty oil pressure sensor if it happened once.

Is the oil level getting high? Could have fuel in the oil.
