Cummins actually had an issue with a false 1081 fmi7 code in freightliner vehicles. It may be something to do with that. I can’t remember what the fix was I can look on quickserve in the morning. I think sw was updated to fix that but don’t hold me to it.

Shoot me a pm with some contact info. If you have calterm and insite it can be fixed

You need to also assume that the program is bad too. more than 90% of all de-mandate programming is very harmful to the engine internally and shortens engine life by a lot, all while the truck driver thinks it seems to be ok.

Copy the program from the ecm (using Cal%term software) and e-mail it to me for a proper review of what someone did.. good, bad, and downright ugly if needed.

Ensuring the programming is not harmful internally is as important as not letting sand get into your oil ... and can be just as harmful.
