Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

I just bought a 2010 Freightliner with a 14L detroit. I am wanting to know what version of diagnostic link I need?? And will my inline 6 work or am I going to need a different adapter?
Also I need to remove speed control, cant deal with 65 mph, and idle shutdown. Will doing either of these things affect what software I need?

Detroit diesel diagnostic link would be what you need.

Inline 6 should work but I know some of the china ones don't get along with it.

Both should be able to be accessed by dddl. Speed might be behind a password and idle shutdown usually is as well.
