cm870 to cm570 i have a 2005 cm870 in a pete have heard nothing good about deletes. wondering if its possible or if anyone has turned their 870 into a 570 ? the little bit of info i managed to find out is the fuel solenoids and the turbo would have to be swapped other wise basically the same... has anyone done this before any info greatly appreciated

RE: cm870 to cm570 unilevers or mommaburt make good program for 870. keep Vg turbo, is big advantage over non-vg for fuel, response, and jakes.

RE: cm870 to cm570 Did an 870 a couple years ago with a hx60 turbo and cm570 manifold. Converted it to 3 solenoid jakes. It was tuned pretty hot though. Just under 700rwhp. Been like that almost 3 years now though without issue. Could use a bit better charger though as starts to get warm on egts on a long hard pull

RE: cm870 to cm570 Why don't you just have Unilevers tune it for you? A LOT less work and $$ and all your problems solved.

RE: cm870 to cm570 I'm in the process of piecing together the parts needed too do this swap, there's the cheap way an the expensive way. The expensive way would involve new injectors, Injector cam, the valve cam is the same between the two. Turbo an manifold unless you use an adapter plate, fuel an timing actuators, Some sensors, ecm engine wiring harness, an the OEM to engine harness. Kustom truck in Oregon sells that harness for $2350. Mawk industries you have to send him your harness an hell modify it for $1150. The cheap way involves a turbo with an adapter or manifold, ecm, engine wiring harness, an OEM wiring harness, some wiring diagrams an alot of time modifying an re-pinning your OEM harness an fuel timing actuators. An then some tunning in the ecm too make it run right. There are some other things but those are the main ones too get ya started. Which route you take will depend on a few things I guess, your wallet an what you've got too start with, for the cheap route your be foolish to take a 450hp 870 an slap an ecm an sig600 cal in an call it a day, you'd wanna go with a 450hp 570 cal too keep the hard parts a similar as possible. as mentioned before the 870 tunes by some of the members here are good tunes an shouldn't give ya any issues. remember a delete will reveal any mechanical issues yo have that are being covered up by emissions. Making you think us got a shi#t delete when ya dont.

If your parts are still good, just tune it. Not sure what your goal is(03-29-2019 )Rig Wrench Wrote: Did an 870 a couple years ago with a hx60 turbo and cm570 manifold. RE: cm870 to cm570 I'm with Rig Wrench an Magard tune what ya got an see how ya like it, I'm pretty sure my tune was done by the same guy that did Rig Wrenchs great tune no issue's I dont even know what a check engine light looks like anymore. My reasons for switching are mainly cause of the pollution police they keep talking bout cracking down in a couple places I run, not much they can say with a 570 under the hood, an I like too experiment an tinker with things so I always had plans of rebuilding an tuning this into a 570. With that in mind when I did my delete I went a but futher then the average guy anything emissions related was removed, I threw on a hx60 turbo an manifold, changed the thermostat housing for a 570 one, an changed the intake piping too look more 570'ish, the last thing too do is the ecm swap
