Ya, nexiq is a compatible adapter. The link on the original post deadends for me so I can't see what exact nexiq adapter they were linking to. But most of the nexiq's sold are cheap chinese knock offs. They are built really cheap and can break apart pretty easily. That being said, I have one and it's worked for a year now and done everything I need to do with it. It's basically you get what you pay for on the cheap knock offs.
