CM 870 hard start issue

Good news for me and bad news for my wallet.

Good news it was the gear pump the whole time, i saw the guts of the old one and it was just chewed up 7 days trough hell.

rawze was right along with everyone else, the gear pump went out but not completely. It still had some life left but it was bleeding out slowly till it died completely.

I chased just down every thing you could imagine in the end it lead me right back to the gear pump.

If anyone else goes to a stealership and tells you its going to cost $1800 to fix a " leaking fuel dampers " because that's what's causing your truck not to start. Just run, run or limp away from that establishment.

Found a honest and decent mechanic who doesn't care just about money.

The engine runs so much better now that it gave me a semi " i kid, i kid ".
