RE: Prostar ac This might be helpful when using DLB to diagnois AC problems on ProStar and DL controlled AC systems on other Nav models. If you see 6525.8 psi as a high side pressure that is DLB telling you there is a problem in the high pressure switch or the wiring itself. Next time you are hooked up unplug the high pressure switch and watch the reading. This problem will not set a code. It is the code. This is in IK1900207 only. Never seen it in a manual. Sometimes the AC quits for maybe 15 20 minutes. Comes back on on and does it again. You will get codes for AC clutch over or under current. Often the cause is belt slippage. Heats up the pulley then the coil. Alters coil resistance. DL runs that clutch in a pretty narrow amp range. A new belt and idler will often fix that. Had a couple last summer that was all it took. No compressor clutch replacement needed. BTW this is not just a NAV issue. Hope this helps someone | |||
