This code is common if one of the emissions system components is acting up and someone blocked all the fault codes for them from showing up in the dash. Causes the J1939 bus to become overloaded with error signals and the ecm ignores them and other devices like the turbo signals get lost/clobbered sometimes causing this kind of errors. This code can also start showing up if the harnesses was unplugged to the emissions systems components and did not properly install a terminating resistor at the end of the harness for the J1939 again. (all of this points very strongly towards a bad delete program and/or someone making mistakes with disconnecting things improperly, etc.). Truck drives the same engine issues aside, the chances of having bad programming is very high in this trucking industry. It is like 95% chances that improper things could have been done to those emissions systems cans and/other other mechanical mods. If not programmed by one of the very, very few ppl known for half-decent programming. ++ all the mechanical things dealt with properly ... this only leads to problems and failed engine or turbo after a while. -- who did the de-mandate? Should also start reading thru the hundreds of horror stories from all the people that have come here in the past with bad de-mandates ... http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...5#pid13255 User's Signature: ->: What I post is just my own thoughts and Opinions! --- I AM Full Of S__T!. | |||
