RE: Installing fuel pump cm2250 Ok, I could use a little help with this... I have an 871, so I have glossed over this fuel pump issue instead of paying detailed attention. I've got a buddy that just recently bought a used truck with a 2250 with about 200k miles, do all 2250's have the three cylinder pump with ceramic plungers? How would we determine if he has the ceramic plungers? If not, how do I help him identify a three vs a two? We are going to put a bypass filter on when we finish this current run. We are also planning to do an EGR tune-up as well. He is not currently in a position to assume the financial risk of "doing the greatest longevity thing." What else do I need to help or tell him to watch for? User's Signature: Why? Why do I always ask "why?" Because I can't learn or help teach others with "'cause I said so..." | |||
