if that is an oil filter then it should NOT be used!. As far as oil filters go ... That one in the photo would be an engine killer for sure that you have your hands on there.

So i checked into it a bit further, it appears Donaldson did change the design on this filter(P559000, the replacement for LF14000NN) their website has the new style pictured on the product page. Why they would change to an inferior design is beyond me...

Maybe you should contact them and ask them why your filters are designed so dangerous, and setting themselves up for a major lawsuit when someone's engine fails?.
