it could be the infamous prostar problem of the fuses in the fuse panel are getting tarnished and causing havok with everything ...

that, or you have power issues somewhere.

The oil pressure gage or any other gage for that matter never before swept and then proceeded to peg out like the oil pressure gage is now doing since after whacking on the ECM I'm going to go ahead and replace all the fuses'cause I know you're a proponent of that be always being a big problem. Also never before with the dash and the beeper stay on even after turning the switch off and then having to cycle it back to on and back to off to get everything quiet.....
