This especially in bad weather or if it sits a lot. Thank you for the response. It sounds like that might just be unavoidable with the conditions so I must just keep up with the maintenance. With the entire egr and intake system (except the egr cooler) removed and cleaned I will hope for the best. I have tried to search it, but I am not really seeing what I would call a worthwhile solution to cleaning the cooler. Some I have seen have been suggesting remove, soak in degreaser, and wash out with water. I could be wrong here, but I feel like that would cause more carbon sticking in the future? I am thinking to just run it as it is with everything else cleaned out to see if it becomes problematic. I have had momentary codes in the past pop up as inactive for egr valve temps high range and exhaust pressure high but they have always gone away after a half of a second. I changed the sensors so I will see if sensor plugging could be an issue, but I would guess it would be a less then efficient cooler if the sensors are within range. Thanks! | |||
