Since the last time I was here I messaged and sent an email to RollinCoal but haven't got a response. I also had a spare ECM from a truck that had no De-madate. I swapped ecm's and the problem remains. Engine shuts down and there are no codes. Watching engine data a mechanic buddy told me the manifold pressure sensor did not show the correct readings, replaced it, issue remains. To re create the shutdown consistently the engine has to be revved high 1500-1600 rpm for about 20-30 seconds and then drop the gas pedal, it drops to idle, stays normal and after about 7 seconds the engine dies..every time. it really sounds like a fuel issue to me. Installing the spare ECM that has a original tune sort of eliminates a computer issue, unless the spare computer is bad but thats highly unlikely. Please help? lol Im getting ready to sell the whole dam thing. Thing is, the engine runs perfectly fine, no smoke, clean power, we even did a cylinder cut off test, all looked normal.
