RE: 2012 Peterbilt 386 I forgot about this post. Life gets in the way. When I get a chance I will update this with some pictures. I ended up overhauling the engine. Have about 40k or so on it now and it has been hassle free. Did all the work myself, minus the counterbore. I did learn a lot about these engines. Also learned that Cummins technicians aren’t that bright. Then you learn that if you call 800cummins they have different level of technicians. I also went from a 450hp to a 500 hp Cpl. Took almost 2 weeks to get any kind of info from Cummins. | |||
