Diagnostic link 8.06 Help needed

Hello everyone,

I am trying to figure out how to change parameter on a DD15. What I am trying to do is to be able to raise the rmps past 800. The reason for it, is that I have a pto and a blower and in order to unload faster I need to raise the rpms, but it doesn't let me. Can anyone teach me how to do it with Diagnostic link 8.06?

That reminds me, I wanted to do this to mine also.
However upon reading about it I believe you cannot change it with Diadnostic Link Standard Edition, like I have. You Need the Professional version, which only authourized Detroit shops have access to.
But I may be wrong about this.
I'll have a look at mine in the morning.

Okay, I was able to change the engine speed on PTO.
In the parameters group, open the PTO tab.
The very first setting under Genereal PTO, is Config PTO Speed Control.
Mine was on #3 Cab/Remote PRO enabled if neutral and park brake.
I could only turn on and off the PTO, but mine only went to 900 rpm.
I changed the parameter to #6 Cruise PTO with park brake.
Now when I engage the PTO, my cruise accel decel switches vary the engine rpm between 900 and 1200 rpm. Which is good for me.
You can now change the rpm limits of those switches with the parameters at the bottom of the picture... CAB PTO min Set Coast , max set Resume.

I've never messed with the new Detroit's. But a quick glance at Ebay I see the DDDL 8 (engineering) up for bid all over the place. This may help you guys.
