If it is getting rebuilt, I am sure there will be some assemblence of warranty by the shop doing the work... only they can decide the answer to your question... ask them... and if they put a different program in it, find out what program that is and I will be happy to tell you if it is fully compatible or not.

I’ll be the one putting on the program, I was thinking using ECM code AB10525. Original was AB10417

The AB10417 ...
* Has smart-torque enabled.
* Fuelling rates are slightly more aggressive in this program compared to the AB10525.
* Has 1450 ft-lbs torque and a max HP of 437HP at 1600RPM. Power falls off both above and below this point. At 1200rpm, power is 331HP, and at 1900rpm, power is at 386HP.

The AB10525 ...
* Has smart-torque disabled.
* Fuelling rates are slightly less aggressive in this program compared to the AB10417.
* Has 1645 ft-lbs torque and a max HP of 500HP at 1700RPM. Power falls off both above and below this point. At 1200rpm, power is 376hp, and at 1900rpm, power is at 458HP.

Other than these differences, they are 100% compatible.

Thank you for the info, what’s the best program you would recommend for a dump truck with 13 speed transmission and 4.33 rears?

If I owned it, I would leave the original program in it and custom-set the power/torque to about 1720 trq. and about 580HP .. all the power above 1500rpm ... + Turn off the smart torque. ... but that is just me. Then again, for local and dump truck applications, I would likely be wanting to put a set of 4.86's in the rears too. Getting going + in and out of the roads and traffic lights, stop and go would play a big role in operations i would think on a dump truck. - The better gear ratio and letting the engine have high rpm's and use the HP to get it up and going instead of trying to use a bunch of low-end torque would be the best option.

just my own thoughts any ways.

Would you be able to write a program for me?

RE: Increasing HorsePower -- What You Need To Know
So should I revert my ecm calibration back to what the eng data plate says AV10064? The current ecm calibration says AV10068.46, I wouldn't want any unnecessary damage to occur. 2007 cm871 if hasn't already.

according to the first post in this thread, the 2 are fully compatible and it should hurt nothing.

If you want to know if an alternate program besides the AV10094 is compatible, let me know what program you want me to compare it to and I will tell you what the differences are.
