The last time this happened, we were trucking from FL to AZ, we each had about 30K on so fairly light, we were running about 60-62mph, and really taking our time. Easy on and easy off the pedals. Me cruising at 1450 rpm and him at about 1200 rpm
...

fla to az and only 30k in the box? even at 60-62 I would be busting 8.3 - 8.9~ish average to the pump easily (and above 9.x between fla and texas) with my 871. You guys would have both been crying and wondering wondering WTF?.

I think Rawze should sell properly set up trucks to us owner operators. The savings alone in fuel and maintaince would pay for whatever price he thought of.
I to am a victim of the 2250, and believed all the lies and hype.
Now that I have seen the truth, I picked up an 09 with an ISM and will be downgrading to lots of sleep and no worries

Of course in true Cummins fashion they all need primer and paint, so I am outside at the truckstop painting them on some cardboard in the dirt. I will install them tomorrow, hopefully the end of leaky number 5.

What size socket is needed for the part in the middle? I know fuel lines use 7/8 crows foot...

Or you can go metric. 22mm crow’s foot on the fuel line, and 27mm deep socket on the retainer nut.
