To be fair, I haven't seen any examples of people having heavy issues with an x15 at that mileage.

True. Not many have first hand input on em either. I dont expect many issues at that low of mileage. But the point was that theres been no adverse effect in 60k miles from running diffeent oil then what is recomended. Why I said if it mattered to anyone. Dont see many people with first hand experience with the x15. Besides, it wasnt unheard of for 2250-2350 to have catastrophic failures before they left the dealers lot.

Hey man, I can appreciate people willing to follow intuition and logical reckoning as opposed to whatever manufacturers mandate be done when it comes to maintaining 'their' engines.

So far these x15 engines seem to be pretty damn good though.

RE: 10W30 in the X15 ?
i work on one regularly that is now off warranty. the owner got it in march 2017 and it has some miles on it and hasnt had a major issue yet, just alot of emmisions lights.

It got "fixed" the day the warranty fell off, and i havent anything bad to say about it yet. its a 605/2050 performance series and i can confirm that insite 7.6 sp5 connects and works with it just fine even though everyone tells you its doesnt - it just wont flash it.

I second the insite claim. This too will be "fixed" as soon as warranty is off.
I did talk to a friend last night that has 3 x15s in the fleet he drives for. 565-1850 I believe. They have had 1 failure around 50k miles. Coolant in oil. The other 2 have been fine. He didnt say the cause yet
