Where in the world (literally) is this still a thing with a dealership? I haven't paid one for a few years but the last couple I walked in to for parts have a $130 /hr (1hr minimum) diagnostic charge AND at least $100 computer hook up or computer diagnostic fee.

The 1st time you actually pay someone to diagnose or read a code is as much as it would cost you to get a copy of the program to do it yourself. Everytime after that 1st time is just $$ in your pocket if you own it.
