Are you saying you actually cleared the code after changing the sensor or did you simply change the sensor and the code didn't immediately go away? I ask because some of these codes, especially emissions related, need to see the diagnostic run and pass very specific tests before they will set or clear. For example, a search of the fault codes for my cm2250 shows 3 results for Pid 411:

1866 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Differential Pressure - Data Erratic, Intermittent, or Incorrect 1866 P411 411 2/2

2273 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Differential Pressure Sensor Circuit - Voltage Above Normal or Shorted to High Source 2273 P411 411

2274 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Differential Pressure Sensor Circuit - Voltage Below Normal or Shorted to Low Source 2274 P411 411

The first one, 1866, only runs when the coolant temperature is above 158F then the ignition is turned off for at least 30 seconds. Then it will run the diagnostic at the next key on.

The 2nd and 3rd both require the ignition to be cycled then the engine idled for a least 1 minute before the diagnostic runs.

Also, all 3 will continue to illuminate the MIL until the diagnostic has run and passed for 3 consecutive trips.

I don't know if they are the same codes that apply to your 870, but I used them to illustrate the point.

I will check the wiring harness Tuesday
Thanks
