Is 100% biodiesel okay in Cummins 871?
One of the places I fuel at I noticed went from 5-20% biodiesel to know has a sticker that says 100% biodiesel. Is this okay for my Cummins 871 with M M tune?
Thanks.

just make sure you have a 10 micron davco installed to catch the higher ashphaltine rates in the fuel.

Long as the dpf has been africanized. Just be prepared for significantly less mpg and as rawze said use the 10 micron filter and have spares ready.

My cm870 loved bio fuel. It got better fuel mileage but it went screaming through fuel filters. I haven't had an opportunity to get any in my cm871 yet. Where are you getting 100% bio?

I fuel at 3 different locations in California. W.H Breshars. Atwater, CA ;Modesto, CA ; Newman, CA all 3 are now 100% biodiesel. A month ago it was a blend of biodiesel.

Will 100% biodiesel effect my 2010 THERMOKING Apu? Started acting up on me today. Hoping it’s not because of the 100% biodiesel.

It should be noted also that Fleetguard has different water separator filters for use with biodiesel fuels. Not exactly sure what the difference is, other than I think a green o-ring instead of black. Probably not a big deal for typical 5-20% blended fuel, but if you're running 100% bio then you might want to look into it.
