RE: ISM 320V 2010 No Boost
Removed exhaust pipe going into DOC/DPF filter. Tons of boost now. So a complete plugging of the Filters. I'll get them baked, then probably go through your list to get the system running correctly, then future work will be removal.

Icky. Now Rawze, what do you figure would cause that filter to plug in under a month. First time we had filter cleaned it lasted 4 years, this lasted 1 month.

Pictures above were with the DOC and DPF connected together. Dirty end being DOC side clean end being DPF outlet. Here is a picture of the outlet of DOC and inlet of DPF

That DPF face looks mostly like oil intrusion. - How much oil does the engine consume in 15,000 miles?.

The face of that DOC however er looks like that might be coolant intrusion under the layer of soot (white powder). Is the engine consuming any coolant?. Pressurize the coolant system to 20-psi and let the vehicle sit over night. Check the egr cooler for seepage on its ends the next day to ensure it is not seeping coolant.

Have them taken to a stgealers$it that has the proper equipment and not one of those liquid garbage cleaning machines.

It needs a proper baking, De-ashing, an air-knife run on it to remove all the ash, and then to be properly flow-tested to ensure it is not cracked. also if it is more than 450k miles old them its time for new ones.
here is the proper machine: http://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?t...5#pid50975

That is a lot of buildup for only one month. Maybe someone did not clean it properly the first time?.

Also do an injector leak test on the engine too. Make sure it is not bleeding fuel and making excess soot all the time. Make sure the EGR valve is not sticking open too.

Yeah I'm curious if the filters were cleaned properly the first time (taken to some company I hadn't heard of before). We took these filters to peterbilt yesterday. They did the standard 4 hour bake then ran a test on flow after. Pegged their machine so filters are done. Possibly filters were not in fact thoroughly cleaned and that's why she plugged so fast. Will start looking into other possible causes as you mentioned above.

Also looked like the doser injector was plugged off just like in your video. Installing new doser. Could be that doser wasn't working properly and not getting exhaust hot enough to burn soot?
