I'm rebuilding a 300hp qsc and I'm wanting to up the hp over the stock 300. They make 500-600 hp models. Anyone have any flash files for the qsc?

Increasing HorsePower -- What You Need To Know
Little background on this engine. It's an 8.3 that's in a mulching machine. No egr/dpf/ or any emissions controls other than a muffler. The engine drives 3 hydraulic pumps at a constant rpm. The manufacture has 2 different options for this engine. 300hp and 500hp. I'm currently rebuilding it and replacing all injectors and the cam due to wear. Since I'm replacing everything I want to figure out way differences are in the 2 as far as programming and hardware. According to the manufacture the engines have the same hardware but who knows how in depth the knowledge of the salesman are at this company. I'm trying to find a serial number off of a 500hp model and compare the part numbers to see if there's different hardware.
Something I can't figure out so far is that the QSC industrial engine ratings are only up to 300hp. The marine engines are rated up to 540hp. Why such a difference?
What is the ESN for the one you have?. You never mentioned it.
Here is the ser# for a CM850 QSC 8.3L rated for 593HP@3000 RPM..

Just pulled them from a random pic off a google search.

A little more background. The owner of this machine bought it brand new. From day one he didn't like the power out put. He's owned several of these mulchers and other brands with the same engines and he said that the other ones don't bog down near as much. Same QSC but different hp ratings. He's requesting that I reflash it with a higher hp rating. I told him I would check on it. If it's possible I would flash it, he would test it, and then pull the data to see what the pressure/temps were doing. As long as everything looked good then keep it but if not I would load the original calibration back on.
